Creating and Managing Tasks
Tasks are the building blocks of your projects. Learn how to create and manage them effectively.
Creating a Task
To create a new task:
- Navigate to your project
- Click the New Task button
- Fill in the task details
- Click Create
Task Details
- Title - A clear, action-oriented task name
- Description - Detailed information about what needs to be done
- Assignee - Who is responsible for completing the task
- Due Date - When the task should be completed
- Priority - Low, Medium, High, or Critical
- Status - To Do, In Progress, In Review, or Done
- Tags - Categorize tasks with custom tags
Subtasks
Break down complex tasks into smaller, manageable subtasks. Each subtask can be assigned to different team members and tracked independently.
Task Dependencies
Link tasks that depend on each other. This helps you understand which tasks need to be completed first and prevents bottlenecks.
Attachments
Upload files, images, and documents directly to tasks. All team members with access can view and download attachments.
Comments
Discuss tasks with team members using comments. All comments are timestamped and attached to the task history for easy reference.
